I See Me

 

         I see me in the daylight and I see me in the dark

       I see me in the city and I see me in the park

       then something quite strange happened and I didn't know what to do

       I couldn't see me anywhere, all I could see was you

       I saw me everywhere I went, on every single street

       I saw me every hour, every day, every week

       and when I was alone with me, it certainly is true

       I knew I wasn't by myself, as you were there too

       Now I see you every day, and I see you everywhere

       I see you all around me and I stop, stand, and stare

       I can really clearly see you now and I see you to be

       I know that when I see you, I can really see me.
